ORTHOMERICA® INTRODUCES THE TRIPLANER CONTROL (TPC™) CUSTOM SPINAL ORTHOSIS

The custom-to-measurements or custom-to-cast Triplanar Control [TPC]™ spinal orthoses with stabilization and support for pediatric to geriatric populations is now available from Orthomerica.

The TPC™ comprises three layers: (1) soft Volara® next to the body for increased comfort, (2) firm Volara® to maintain integrity of the orthotic design, and (3) thermoplastic external frame to ensure proper support and alignment. The TPC’s unique strapping feature allows easy off-site adjustability to best meet the dexterity requirements of each patient.

The hydrostatic design permits it to be worn more intimately than many other rigid spinal designs, without restricting respiration or creating skin abrasions. The TPC™ is ideal for use with wheelchair bound patients, and provides excellent seating stabilization and support without compromising patient mobility.
