BIVALVE HEALING ANKLE-FOOT SYSTEM (CROW AFO)

The bivalve AFO establishes plantargrade alignment of deformed foot and ankle structures while promoting a smooth and efficient pattern of walking. It is often used for management of compromised soft tissue caused by ischemia, direct trauma and/or repetitive stress. These conditions are often found in the elderly, or those with limited mobility or chronic illness such as diabetes mellitus.

Also effective for stabilization of ankle and foot complex during or following acute Charcot symdrome. Requires lower leg cast for precision total contact custom orthosis. Should be worn with a seamless diabetic sock, sold separately.
