LS4 — Lumbo Sacral Spinal Stabilization System

Orthomerica’s LS4 custom spinal jacket with integrated hip spica system has been designed to address the needs of patients with conditions requiring orthotic control of both pelvic and low lumbar motion.

The LS4 can be effective for non-operative patients, potential lumbar fusion candidates undergoing pre-operative assessment and post-surgical fusion patients requiring stabilization to promote healing.

Available custom-to-measurements or custom-to-cast, the comfortable LS4 unit combines proven orthotic principles of custom spinal bracing with industry-leading Newport® Hip System components to provide effective spinal stabilization, hydrostatic lift and control of both hip flexion/extension and abduction/adduction. The LS4 is available as either a unilateral or bilateral orthosis.

The LS4 can be supplied with an optional adjustable multi-celled pneumatic bladder which may be placed posteriorly for variable control of lumbar lordosis or may be placed anteriorly for increased hydraulic compression and hydrostatic lift.
